Description

The cutest compact Syngonium going! The Pixie stays wonderfully small and bushy rather than climbing and trailing - those glossy, bright-green arrowhead leaves form a lovely compact mound that's perfect for a desk or windowsill! Easy, cheerful and perfectly sized for small spaces!

Plant Nerd Tip: Bright indirect light, moderate moisture and pinch back the tips if it starts to trail rather than stay compact.

Watering details
Allowing the top 5cm of soil to dry out before watering is the perfect rule of thumb. Although they can live hydropnically in water. Over-watering in soil causes yellowing of leaves, soft or mushy stems, and attracts fungus gnats.
Light details
Prefers overhead, bright indirect light but can tolerate low light. Variegated syngoniums might revert or show less variegation when situated in a low-light setting and will trail towards the light. Avoid direct sun, leaves are sensitive to being scorched.
Temperature details
They are highly adaptable tropical plants that thrive in standard, warm indoor household conditions.
Feeding details
Feed them with either diluted indoor liquid plant fertiliser every 2-4 weeks in the warm season, or slow-release granular fertiliser every 4-6 months. Regular feeding keeps foliage vibrant and encourages fast, lush vining.

Frequently Asked Questions

How will my plant be delivered?

Your plant will be carefully packaged in our custom eco-friendly packaging. Each plant is secured to prevent movement during transit. Your plant may arrive slightly stressed from the journey — this is completely normal. If your plant looks dry, give it a good drink of water, place it in a well-lit spot (out of direct sunlight), and it will bounce back within a few days.

What if my plant arrives damaged?

We stand behind the quality of every plant we send. If your plant arrives damaged or unhealthy, contact us within 7 days of delivery with a photo of the damage. We'll arrange a replacement, refund, or store credit — whichever you prefer. That's our Jungle guarantee.

How do I know which plant is right for my space?

Each product page includes key information about light requirements, care level, size, and whether the plant is pet-friendly. If you're unsure, try our Plant Quiz — answer a few quick questions and we'll recommend the perfect match for your space, lifestyle, and experience level.

How often should I water this plant?

Watering needs vary by plant and are listed in the care instructions on each product page. As a general rule, most indoor plants prefer to dry out slightly between waterings. Overwatering is the most common mistake — when in doubt, wait a day or two before watering again. Factors like light, temperature, humidity, and pot size will all affect how often your plant needs water.

Is this plant safe for pets?

We label every plant as either Pet Friendly or Not Pet Friendly on the product page. If you have curious cats or dogs, use our Pet Friendly filter to browse only non-toxic varieties.

Does my plant come with a pot?

Plants are shipped in their nursery grow pot. We offer a range of decorative pots and planters separately so you can choose the perfect match for your space.

When should I repot my plant?

Most plants are happy in their nursery pot for at least 6–12 months after purchase. Signs it's time to repot include roots growing out of the drainage holes, water running straight through the soil, or the plant becoming top-heavy. Spring and summer are the best times to repot, as your plant is actively growing.

Can I return my plant?

Due to the living nature of our products, we don't accept returns on healthy plants. However, our Plant guarantee covers any plants that arrive damaged or unhealthy. See our returns & refund policy for full details.

Do you ship Australia-wide?

We deliver to metro and regional areas across Queensland, NSW, ACT and Victoria. Shipping times vary by location — check our Shipping & Delivery page for full details.
