Plant Nerd Tip: Light: Bright, indirect light keeps the variegation vibrant but direct sun will scorch the variegation! Let the top few centimetres of soil dry out completely before watering again. Give this climbing beauty a totem or moss pole to climb so the leaves grow even larger!

Watering details
Keep a consistent cycle where you allow the top layer of soil to dry out slightly between waterings, while ensuring the deeper root zone stays evenly moist but never saturated. Always make sure to pour off any standing water from the saucer so your plant baby's roots aren't sitting in stagnant water. If you're ever torn between watering and waiting, definitely lean toward waiting!
Light details
Your Philodendron will absolutely thrive in bright, indirect light near a window. Just be sure to avoid long stretches of harsh, direct midday sun on bare glass, as tissue grown in softer light can burn pretty quickly.
Temperature details
Keep your plant in a stable room temperature spot. Be sure to keep it well away from radiators or direct hot air—which can cause sad, crispy edges and sluggish growth—and protect it from chilly direct drafts coming from doors or windows.
Feeding details
Once your plant has adjusted to your home and is showing steady new growth with fresh leaves or shoots, you can start feeding it with a dilute, balanced fertiliser suitable for tropical foliage. No need to feed right after arrival, as they come pre-fertilised from the greenhouse.

Frequently Asked Questions

How will my plant be delivered?

Your plant will be carefully packaged in our custom eco-friendly packaging. Each plant is secured to prevent movement during transit. Your plant may arrive slightly stressed from the journey — this is completely normal. If your plant looks dry, give it a good drink of water, place it in a well-lit spot (out of direct sunlight), and it will bounce back within a few days.

What if my plant arrives damaged?

We stand behind the quality of every plant we send. If your plant arrives damaged or unhealthy, contact us within 7 days of delivery with a photo of the damage. We'll arrange a replacement, refund, or store credit — whichever you prefer. That's our Jungle guarantee.

How do I know which plant is right for my space?

Each product page includes key information about light requirements, care level, size, and whether the plant is pet-friendly. If you're unsure, try our Plant Quiz — answer a few quick questions and we'll recommend the perfect match for your space, lifestyle, and experience level.

How often should I water this plant?

Watering needs vary by plant and are listed in the care instructions on each product page. As a general rule, most indoor plants prefer to dry out slightly between waterings. Overwatering is the most common mistake — when in doubt, wait a day or two before watering again. Factors like light, temperature, humidity, and pot size will all affect how often your plant needs water.

Is this plant safe for pets?

We label every plant as either Pet Friendly or Not Pet Friendly on the product page. If you have curious cats or dogs, use our Pet Friendly filter to browse only non-toxic varieties.

Does my plant come with a pot?

Plants are shipped in their nursery grow pot. We offer a range of decorative pots and planters separately so you can choose the perfect match for your space.

When should I repot my plant?

Most plants are happy in their nursery pot for at least 6–12 months after purchase. Signs it's time to repot include roots growing out of the drainage holes, water running straight through the soil, or the plant becoming top-heavy. Spring and summer are the best times to repot, as your plant is actively growing.

Can I return my plant?

Due to the living nature of our products, we don't accept returns on healthy plants. However, our Plant guarantee covers any plants that arrive damaged or unhealthy. See our returns & refund policy for full details.

Do you ship Australia-wide?

We deliver to metro and regional areas across Queensland, NSW, ACT and Victoria. Shipping times vary by location — check our Shipping & Delivery page for full details.
